INTRODUCTION
Greatech Technology Berhad (“Greatech” or “Company”) and its subsidiaries (“Group”, “we”, “our”, “us”) are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.
This Greatech Personal Data Protection Notice (“PDP Notice”) helps you understand what personal data we collect about you, when and why we collect it, how we use it, the conditions under which we may disclose it to others, dispose, your rights to your personal data and how we keep it secure to ensure that your rights are well protected.
This PDP Notice covers both our online and offline collection activities, including personal data that we collect through online platforms such as websites, applications, third party social networks or our online or physical events or through other third parties that we work with.

WHO WE ARE
Greatech is a global industrial automation company with businesses that serve a wide variety of industries around the world. Greatech focuses on developing customised equipment and process solutions for multiple industries including Solar, Energy Storage, Life Science, Semiconductors and Consumer Electronics. Greatech’s automation equipment are used worldwide by multinational organisations ranging from medical device makers, renewable energy producers to semiconductor companies.
The Group was founded in 1997 and is headquartered in Penang, Malaysia, with four (4) subsidiaries and representative offices in Asia, USA and Europe.
COLLECTION AND SOURCE OF PERSONAL DATA
We collect and process the following types of personal data, include but is not limited to the following:
Contact information, such as your name, telephone number, email address and mailing address to correspond with you about our products, services and general inquiries.
Identity data: Your passport, other ID, date of birth, nationality
Financial data such as your bank account details, financial information, transaction information and any other information necessary for processing and collecting payments in connection with Products and Services you have purchased from us.
Communication data which you provide to us, from time to time, in connection with any service, transaction, survey, promotion, questionnaire, applications, forms or communication with us.
Qualification data such as details of your employment history, your qualifications, your eligibility to work and your references where you apply for a job via our website.
Image data where you provide us with a photo or other in any application you submit via our website including a job application.
Technical data including your internet protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, time zone setting and location, country and language, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform and other technology on the devices you use to access our websites including www.greatech-group.com and www.greatech-group.ie (the Greatech website).
Usage data including information about how you interact with the Greatech websites such as the pages you view or search for, page response times, download errors, length of visits and page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks and mouse-overs), traffic data, web logs and other communication data and the resources that you access
INFORMATION GATHERING AND USAGE
WHY WE COLLECT, USE, PROCESS AND STORE PERSONAL DATA
Greatech collects personal information that you provide to us which may include the personal information that relates to an identified or identifiable natural person.
We may use personal data that we obtain for any of the following purposes:
To communicate with you and to provide you with your request to purchase our products or services.
To deliver our product or services to your desired address and location.
To resolve complaints or delivery problems (if any)
To provide you with information and updates on the products and services.
To process your application, inquiry, or request.

Sensitive Personal Data means any personal data consisting of information as to physical or mental health condition, political opinions, religious belief, or other beliefs of a similar nature. Personal data or information may include Sensitive Personal Data. We do not collect sensitive personal data from you [unless required by the laws.
If you are based in the EU or EEA please refer to the Appendix to this policy which sets out the legal grounds we rely on under the EU GDPR to process your personal data.
HOW WE SHARE OR TRANSFER PERSONAL DATA
Greatech may share the personal data that you provide to us to other entities in the Greatech Group for the purposes described above. If you are based in Malaysia We may transfer your personal data to a country outside Malaysia.. If you are based in the EU, we may transfer your personal data to countries outside of the EEA which do not provide the same level of data protection as the country in which you reside and are not recognised by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of data protection. Where such transfers occur, Greatech will protect personal data and address data privacy and other privacy requirements in accordance with applicable laws such as European Commission approved standard contractual clauses..
We may disclose your personal data to the following classes of third parties:
Companies within Greatech Group.
Third party service providers.
Our partners and sponsors.
Our contractors, suppliers, consultants, auditors, and advisors on a need-to-know basis.
Regulatory authorities and enforcement agencies.
We will not otherwise use, share, disseminate, publish, or disclose your personal data except as may be required in response to litigation, investigations, or other legal required disclosure or to protect our rights, property, or safety of our stakeholders.
For European Economic Area (EEA), your personal data may be stored and processed in any country where we have facilities or in which we engage service providers.

YOUR CHOICE AND RIGHTS
You have the opportunity to make choices. Please note that you have the following rights:
You have the right to ask Greatech for a copy of your personal data, to correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data.
You can object to the processing of your personal data in some circumstances (where we don’t have to process the data to a meet a contractual or legal requirements).
Where we asked for your consent, you may withdraw consent at any time. If you ask to withdraw consent to Greatech processing your data, this will not affect any processing which has already taken place at that time.
You may request to have inaccurate or incomplete information corrected and updated by us (Rectification of your personal data)
You can request the erasure of your personal data. This right enables you to ask us to delete or remove personal data where there is no good reason for us continuing to process it. You also have the right to ask us to delete or remove your personal data where you have exercised your right to object to processing. However, where we hold and process your personal data in order to comply with legal obligations, such as compliance with tax, or for the establishment exercise or defence of legal claims, your right to ask us to delete or remove your personal data is limited.
You have the right to request restriction of processing of your personal data. This right enables you to ask us to suspend the processing of your personal data (e.g. if you want us to establish its accuracy or the reason for processing it).
You have the right to be informed if your personal data will be subject to automated decision making, including profiling, where that decision impacts on your legal rights. Profiling is an automated form of processing of personal data often used to analyse or predict personal aspects about an individual person. We do not engage in profiling when processing your personal data.
In some instances, these rights may be limited, for example, if fulfilling your request would reveal personal data about another person or if you ask to delete information which we are required by law or have compelling legitimate interest to keeps.
You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority for data protection. The supervisory authority could be in place where you live or work, or where a breach of data protection obligations has occurred. PERSONAL DATA RETENTION PERIOD
We will retain your personal data only for as long as we need it for Greatech’s legitimate interest in accordance with applicable law, or perform a service at your request, or to meet a legal requirement. At the end of the retention period, we will take steps to delete your personal data or hold it in a form that no longer identifies you.
